- To make a DNG camera profile for use in these applications, follow the steps below. First the image will need to be a DNG file format: Open an image of the ColorChecker Classic in the Camera Raw plug-in. Don’t edit the image, but make sure to verify that it was exposed properly. See Exposure Verification and Correction for more details.

The next diagram shows the basic structure of the grid. For a profile generated by the current version of the DNG profile editor, there are 90 radius lines (so hue points at every 4 degrees), and 25 saturation divisions (so 25 “circles” on the diagram).

I've downloaded it to two different computers, opened up a DNG image file, and while some things work, selecting the Color Matrices tab, then trying to edit saturation does not work. Not that I know of in terms of numbers. Of course you can toggle on or off each edit and view visually. If you're on a Mac, you could hack this a bit by using the numbers output to the display (NOT the actual numbers of the data), using the Digital Color Meter utility.
