Serum Original Presets Folder

What's up everybody! This is just gonna be a quick video on how to install presets and

wavetables into Serum. It's really really easy to do. There was a time when I neededthis information and it was not as easily available or as easy to find as I had hoped,

In addition there are 280 wavetables, available as a free separate download (link at the bottom of product description). In order to download the 23 free Serum presets, click the green “Download” button in the right sidebar of product page. XferRecords Serum minimum vFX 1.11b3 beta is required for the presets. C: Users YOURUSERNAME Documents Xfer Serum Presets Presets MAKEANEWFOLDERHERE. It will then show up in the program. Edit: Realized you're on a mac. That will be /Library/Audio/Presets/Xfer Records/.

so i just wanted to make a quick and short video about how to do that.So first of all you're gonna need the latest version of Serum. You can find it on the Xferrecords website under 'Your Account' and then the downloads section will be available andyou will see the latest updates. Right now I believe its 1.07 beta. That is the latestversion as of December 8th, 2015. So, download that and of course you can find online tonsof free preset packs and wavetable packs. Ill be using this Biomorphic pack for thisexample. So, once you unzip that you'll have these folders 'presets' and 'tables'. And thereSerum Original Presets Folderwill just be these .fxp files for the presets and tables for the wavetables. So, then you're gonna wanna go to your Documents which is most likely where your presets willbe installed by Default when you install Serum. So that will be of course under 'This PC'

Presetsthen under 'Documents' then 'Xfer'. And here you have the Serum presets folder. You havetables, and presets and noise and LFO shapes. Of course you can import all kinds of differentthings but we'll just be focusing on presets and tables. If you open this up you'll see the default folders that Serum comes with including theSerum Original Presets Folderuser folder. If you click that you'll see this little text document saying 'place yourwavetables here'.So, simple enough! All you must do is take this folder that you downloaded and drag anddrop it into this folder. Go back to your presets, go to 'User'. And same thing...Drag and drop it and there you go.Easy enough, right? So now we can 'X' out of this, go into FL studio, open up SEEERUMMM. Uhm.. right uphere.

So now, when we go to 'USER' our wavetables are installed. So that's just a single cycle -well not single cycle, uhm, it's not really a wavetable, it'sjust a waveshape, this example. But if you go to presets and user you will also have these different presets if everythingwent correctly. And you also have this little cool tab which allows us to browse through it. That is prettymuch it, its as simple as that. It is really easy and I just wanted to make this videoso people can avoid browsing through every single thing like I did. I searched under'program files' I searched everyhting I couldnt find it. And of course it was right thereunder documents and as easy as that. At least this way the information is there and easilysearchable, hopefully. So i hope you guys found this helpful and have a great day!
